Classroom Moms

I am SO blessed to have the MOST amazing mommies in my classroom of 3rd graders!  They surprised me on Friday (March 4) with an amazing baby shower!  They contacted Cameron and my mom and they both were able to celebrate with me and my 18 wonderful students!  We played games, ate cupcakes and opened presents.  It has been so great to be able to share this adventure with my kiddos! 

Cameron's Office Shower

Last Wednesday the ladies at Cameron's office surprised him with a Daddy Baby Shower!  What a sweet gesture!  They went all out with cake, munchies and TONS of wonderful baby gifts!  We are so appreciative to them for taking time to plan a special party to welcome Dax into the world!  I wasn't there, so Cameron got to open all the gifts and we had show-and-tell when he got home that night!

BBQ Cook-Off

On February 24 we headed out to BBQ Cook-Off!  It was a totally different experience being pregnant!  It was fun to people watch, and I actually was able to snag a stool to sit on!  There aren't many, but check out the pictures below! 

36 week check-up

Cameron and I just finished at our 36 week appointment!  It was the last time we get to see Dax before we actually meet him!  The ultrasound measured him at 7.5lbs.  AND we still have 26 days to go at an ounce per day.  I asked the doctor how accurate that measurement was...and thankfully she said it can be up to about a pound off!  WHEW!  I am not dilated yet, so he isn't coming anytime soon!  I will go to the doctor every week from now on out.  I'm going to take weekly pictures too!

Dax's Nursery

Cameron and I were hard at work this weekend going through our loot from the baby shower!  It was SO fun to sort through everything, wash the clothes, and ORGANIZE it all.  I do love to organize!  Check out Dax's safari getaway!  I am THRILLED with how the nursery has turned out.  It looks more amazing that I could have ever dreamed!

Lady's Baby Shower

I had the MOST amazing time at my baby shower last Thursday!  I am overwhelmed by how blessed I am to be surrounded by so many supportive and loving people!  It was so fun visiting with everyone and opening some fabulous presents!  My 9 hostesses outdid themselves with decorations, great food, gifts, and sweets!  Click play on the photo story above to see some highlights! 

34 weeks

OK!  Had a doctor's appointment today!  Dax kicked and wiggled when the nurse was using the Doppler thingy to get his heartbeat!  I feel huge, but Dr. Bertles assures me that I am on target for belly size!  My next appointment is in two weeks, when I'm 36 weeks.  We get to have our last ultrasound at that appointment to estimate his size and see if he is in the right position for delivery!  After that I will go weekly until he makes his debut!  Below is my 34 week picture!  You will have to look at previous posts to see how I've grown!  As you will recall, editing my baby bump photo story DIDN'T work as planned.  Grrr....
